Internal Auditor Training

How to Improve Your ISO 9001 Audits

The ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Training is a two-day, CIRAS-sponsored educational opportunity for anyone seeking practical insights and tips for implementing or improving a quality management system.

The class, which is scheduled to take place April 18-19 in Bettendorf, will be led by an experienced QMS Lead Auditor. This interactive workshop is designed for the participants to learn and apply internal auditing skills using ISO 9001 as the foundation of the audit. Attendees will learn the standard and be able to use that knowledge to support/enhance their organizations’ current auditing systems.
If you come, you’ll learn:
  • How to understand the ISO 9001:2015 requirements and interpret them as they apply to your organization
  • How to prepare an audit plan, perform and report on a process audit (opening meeting, audit and closing meeting), and conduct multiple internal audits
  • How to identify and document non-conformities

Who Should Attend:

  • Anyone charged with Internal Auditor duties and responsibilities, or anyone who just needs to better understand the new ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Internal Auditors – Both first-time and those requiring refresher training.
  • ISO Management Reps, QA Managers, Quality Engineers, and Managers/Supervisors
Attendees will receive in-class exercises and other hand-out materials, including a book: ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audits Made Easy by Ann W. Phillips. Certificates will be provided upon completion of the training.
