II Ngwesi
Rooted in community, II Ngwesi is entirely operated by local experts. Their history of community dates back to 1996, when community elders agreed to set aside land for conservation and were supported by USAID to create what is now II Ngwesi.
During your stay, you will learn about everything from traditional hunting techniques to honey collecting methods, all taught by locals. You'll also be given the chance to stay at their eco-lodge, constructed entirely out of local materials. Be sure to sign up to walk through the rhino sanctuary to experience rhinos unlike ever before. Their robust community led programming has created a truly unique opportunity to experience Kenya as if you're visiting family.
