FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Find answers to the most common seat selection questions below.
Q: Do I have to select new seats?
A: If you wish to have season tickets for the 2019 football season, you must complete the seat selection process. Exempt season ticket holders must complete the check out process (even if they don't wish to add or move seats). Non-exempt season ticket holders must select seats and check out. This process will take the place of an annual season ticket renewal.
Q: Where can I log in to my ticket account?
A: Go to baylorbears.com, find TICKETS in the top navigation and select My Ticket Account (or click HERE). Log in and find the button for "2019 Football Reseat." The selection site will be live March 30.
Q: When I activate my account with my PIN it says my email is already being used? What do I do?
A: Call the ticket office at 254-710-1000 before your selection time, reference your problem and they will be able to fix your account.
Q: Can I add additional seats?
A: Yes, you can add additional seats at your selection time, if you are not already at the limit. All season ticket holders are allowed to have up to 10 season tickets.
Q: If I like where my previous seats are located do I need to log in at my selection time?
A: If you are exempt and opted into reseating, you will need to log in and pay for the tickets, even if you do not add or move seats. This process will act as your season ticket renewal.
Q: How do I select at the same time as my friend?
A: You will select at the later time between the two parties in order to coordinate your selection. (i.e. Chuck selects on April 5 and Sally selects on April 10, Chuck will need to wait until Sally's selection time to select seats.)
Q: What do I do if I can't select at my selection time?
A: You are able to log in and select seats after your selection time. Or, you can have a friend select for you with your login information. Keep in mind, once your selection time begins, it will stay open until the end of the entire reseating process. In some cases, we may be able to assist with selection.
Q: Can a Bear Foundation team member assist me with my selection in-person?
A: A limited number of in-person appointments are available for those who need greater assistance in this process. Appointments will be scheduled for the approximate time of your seat selection. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to assist you at your exact time, but will do our best to keep appointments as close to the original selection time as possible. To request an appointment, call the seat selection hotline: 254-710-SEAT (7328).
Q: What does "total donation used" mean?
A: Total Donation Used is the amount of your Bear Foundation pledge allocated to football seat options.
Q: If available, can I select seats with options that exceed my projected Bear Foundation commitment?
A: Yes. If your seat option total exceeds your giving amount, you may still select available seats, and the increased seat option requirement will be reflected in your new 2019 membership dues. This total will also include any basketball or football loge and/or club seat options, if applicable.
Q: My reseating rank does not match my ranking in DonorNet. Why is this?
A: Reseating rankings are based only on those who are participating in the reseat process and have an assigned selection time. Rankings in DonorNet include all Bear Foundation members.
Q: I logged into the selection site before my time. Why does the "Seats to Select" category say "0"?
A: Before your selection time, your account may have "0" quantity listed. At your selection time, that number should reflect the number of seats you held in 2018. This is only your minimum selection number. All accounts are eligible to select up to 10 total seats.
Q: Do I need to renew my membership for subsequent years in order to maintain my football tickets?
A: Yes. All BBF members who select seats in McLane Stadium must maintain their same giving level for subsequent years in order to have the right to renew football tickets. BBF members were able to obtain their seats through a current membership. As a result, the membership must be maintained in conjunction with the season football tickets selected.
Q: How long do I have to select my seats? Do I lose my place in line if I am not finished before the next selection time starts?
A: Selection times occur every few minutes, so additional users may enter the site as you are selecting, but it should not disrupt your selection. However, your session may expire after 15 minutes and the system may empty your cart. Most likely, you will not need to log back in, but you will need to begin your selections again.
Q: I will not be near a computer at my selection time. Can I select from my smartphone?
A: No. The seat selection site requires flash and will not work on a mobile device. You can still log in and select after your selection time. If you need further assistance, call our helpline: 254-710-SEAT (7328).
Q: I don't see a button that says football seat selection in my ticket account. What do I do?
A: The site will be live March 30. After that date, if you still do not see it, please call the ticket office at 254-710-1000 before your selection time to assure that you are using the correct ticket account.
Q: I can access the seat selection site, but the webpage is blank. Is there a problem?
A: Make sure you are on a laptop or desktop computer. The site will not work on a cell phone or tablet. Google Chrome is the recommended internet browser, and you may need to clear your cache. If you are still having issues, call the helpline: 254-710-SEAT (7328).
Q: What should I do if I forget my seat selection date and time?
A: Reference your email or postcard. You will also receive email automated reminders of your seat selection time as the date approaches. If you do not receive any of these, contact our helpline: 254-710-SEAT (7328).
Q: If after selecting my seats, my Bear Foundation seat option total is less than my annual giving level, can I reduce my pledge to a lower level?
A: No. You must, at a minimum, maintain the same giving level used to establish rankings for as long as you wish to maintain your seats.
Q: What does it mean when it says you must check out with the same number of seats you entered with?
A: This means if you had four tickets last season, you must check out with four seats this year, unless you have notified our team. If you have less than 10 tickets in your account, you may also add seats.
Q: What if I want to upgrade my parking?
A: Parking will be ranked according to Bear Foundation priority and assigned prior to season tickets mailing in August 2019.
Q: What if I want to reduce my number of seats?
A: Please contact the team at  254-710-SEAT (7328) and a representative can assist you in reducing your number of seats prior to your selection time.
Q: How do I request ADA seating?
A: ADA seating is located throughout the stadium. It is not available for selection during the reseating process. To submit a request, please contact Cheryl Ervi at Cheryl_Ervi@baylor.edu.
Q: Once my selections are complete, how do I pay for my tickets?
A: You will be prompted to pay for your tickets at the end of the selection process. You may pay in full or establish a payment plan (50% at the time of completion and 50% on July 1.)
