Jena Brown, RD, CSSD, ISAK-1, a 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University’s Nutrition program, discovered her passion for nutrition as a young 4-H Food Show participant—a passion that ultimately led her to pursue a degree in Nutritional Sciences. Today, she is a sports dietitian specializing in endurance nutrition, running a private practice that provides individualized support for daily and race nutrition, lab testing, supplements, and more.

Beyond her private practice, Jena has remained connected to Texas A&M Nutrition by speaking for student organizations such as the Nutrition and Dietetic Association (NDA) and the Running Club. She also serves on the Didactic Program in Dietetics Accreditation Advisory Committee, helping shape the future of nutrition education.

Her career aspirations include expanding her private practice into a platform of dietitians who can work without managing their own businesses. She also hopes to further her expertise by earning credentials in integrative and functional nutrition.

Jena credits Dr. Karen Beathard as a key mentor and guiding influence in both her professional and personal journey. She also works alongside and mentors fellow Aggies and dietitians, including faculty member Aaron Riviere and former Aggie Baseball dietitian Sarah Katz, who continue to inspire her growth in the field.
