Hannah Fox, a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition student, has always been fascinated by the universal yet deeply individual nature of nutrition. For her, the field seamlessly connects biochemistry and health, making it the perfect area of study. Her passion for clinical nutrition was sparked by her experience working in a tertiary care hospital in Minneapolis, where she saw firsthand the impact of Registered Dietitians. Now, she is working toward becoming a Registered Dietitian with a focus on acute care, particularly organ transplant nutrition. Her ultimate career goal is to run a clinical/metabolic research lab and teach.

This year, Hannah’s dedication to the profession has earned her an incredible honor—she has been selected to serve as an ACEND Board Dietetic Student Representative. In this national role, she will provide valuable student insight to the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), helping shape the future of dietetics education.

Beyond her academic achievements, Hannah is also committed to personal growth and wellness. She and several fellow Master’s students are currently training for the Blue Bell Fun Run half marathon on March 22, a testament to her belief in the practical application of nutrition in all aspects of life. She credits her education in nutrition for helping her become a better athlete, a more focused student, and for giving her the energy and strength to invest in the people and activities she loves.

Congratulations to Hannah on this well-deserved recognition—we can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes in the field of dietetics!
