He has extensive experience representing direct selling companies and engaging with regulators and offers strategic counsel to clients seeking to strike the right balance between risk-taking and regulatory compliance.

A prolific writer and recognized thought leader, Clay regularly shares insights on legal and business topics relevant to entrepreneurs through his newsletter, Thoughts A Brewin' , various publications, and on social media. Clay is also an active participant in GGI Global Alliance where he represents Thompson Burton on the world stage.
Clay is an avid traveler and conversationally speaks, reads, and writes both Russian and Spanish.
He also serves on the Ethics Board of the Association of Network Marketing Professionals (ANMP) and the Associate Board of Directors for the Nashville Symphony as a Co-Chair of Membership and Governance.
