AFA Conference

Career preparation, relationship-building skills and agriculture industry awareness topped the list of key competencies for School of Agriculture students attending the Agriculture Future of America (AFA) Leaders Conference held Nov. 1-4, 2018 in Kansas City, MO. The forum provides students an opportunity to focus on their marketable skills by participating in one of four program tracks. Agricultural businesses, associations, institutions and individuals invest in this program as a means to grow human capital for the agriculture industry. Attendees were Sam Grams the Campus Ambassador, Lauryn Hacker, Logan Schmerbach, Eva Birtell, and Ryan Grubb.
