American Royal Collegiate Crops Contest

The UW-Platteville Crops judging team placed 4th Overall, 4th in Identification, 5th in Seed Analysis, and 3rd in Grain Grading at the 2017 American Royal Collegiate Crops Contest at Kansas City, MO.

Individually, Josh Pickel placed 10th Overall, 9th in Plant Identification, and 8th in Seed Analysis. Tanner Hall placed 10th in Seed Analysis, and 7th in Grain Grading. Catherine Behrens, placed 5th in Grain Grading. Bailey Hermanson was the team alternate and did well.

The team headed toward Chicago mid-November in preparation for the 2017 Chicago Collegiate Crops Contest sponsored by CME Group.
