FOR FIRST YEAR & TRANSFER APPLICANTS
Submit either the TOEFL iBT, IELTS, PTE Academic, ITEP Academic Plus, Cambridge C1 Advanced or Cambridge C2 Proficiency unless you meet one of the following exemptions:
- English is your native language
- You have completed, at the time of application, 3+ years in curriculum
where English was the sole language of instruction - You have successfully completed English composition
at a U.S.- accredited college or university (Transfer Only)

FOX Applicants: TOEFL 84, IELTS 6.5, PTE 56
If you are not offered direct admission to Temple due to English proficiency, we may offer you Conditional Admission. This will give you an
alternative admission pathway to obtain a visa to come to Temple as an international student and take Intensive English courses in our Center for American Language and Culture. Once you meet the English proficiency requirement, you will automatically receive admission to Temple University.
