We are continuously improving our balance on work, family needs, and making healthy choices by doing some of the following things:
  • Daily and weekly setting times that are realistic for each of us to get our work done.
  • Scheduling breaks so neither of us are too overwhelmed doing all of one thing and not sitting too long.
  • Established part of our dining room up as our work station.
  • Meeting with our department every morning to establish our objectives for the day is a great motivator.

    It is a wonderful feeling having our work understand that we are effective classified staff professionals that can self-manage workloads, problem solve, communicate and have the tech skills to effectively have remote positions. We hope that everyone else is staying safe and feeling appreciated for their hard work too!
