SBCC Scholarships and Review Committees

Looking for more ways to help students in this unending COVID-19 environment? Sign up now for a Scholarship Committee which will take place in March.

What a wonderful way to give back to students by awarding them a scholarship for next school year. Each Scholarship Committee reviews applications for 2 different scholarships. You review all applications and submit your top choices prior to your Scholarship Committee Zoom meeting to discuss final recipients and alternates. It can take 5-15 minutes to review an application, depending on your reading speed.

Reviewer Criteria:
  • Be a current SBCC staff or faculty member (full time, part time, non-student hourly)
  • Be able to read all applications assigned and submit your top choices prior to your selected committee date(s) and time(s
  • Be willing to meet for approximately 2-3 hours for the committee date(s) and time(s) you sign up

Can be used for FLEX and Professional Growth hours.  Sign up here.  Spread the word by telling your co-workers.
