Molly McCarthy ’93, ’97, ’15
Assistant Athletic Director for Central Molly McCarthy ’93, ’97 ’15 is the epitome of school pride! Molly is a shining example of how a connection to Central can last a lifetime, and her ongoing work and support ensures that the university’s impact will continue to be felt for years to come. When the opportunity arose in 1995 to join the Admissions team, she jumped at the chance to return to the place that had given her a great educational foundation.  She answered calls with questions about everything and anything on campus.  In 2001 she transferred to the Athletics Office where she uses her expertise in NCAA regulations, admissions, and counseling to help new athletes get acclimated. She also assists coaches in the recruitment process, works with student athlete leadership groups, oversees a wellness room for student athletes that focuses on mental health and wellbeing and runs mental health programming for athletes.  Not only is Molly an alumnus and employee she is also a parent of two Central alumni, Cal and Max.   Molly said from day one she fell in love with the welcoming atmosphere, the sense of community, and the rigorous academic environment that shaped her time as a student who earned three degrees at Central. Molly says “Central has given me everything. "It’s where I found lifelong friends, mentors, and the foundation for my career. It’s an honor to contribute to that same experience for our current students and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
