Throughout his career, he worked across every level of government - local, city, county, and state. He also oversees the Mercantile Division, which licenses all businesses, including ground transportation activities, in a city that is home to eight casinos that employ over 25,000 individuals.
Dale’s institutional knowledge and steady leadership have earned the trust of city officials, and he has been retained through three different mayoral administrations, a testament to his effectiveness and professionalism. He has also served as Acting Mayor of Atlantic City on four occasions, including most recently last December.
After graduating from Central, Dale coached youth baseball and football and discovered a strong passion for writing, a path that ultimately shaped the direction of his career. Writing became a meaningful way for him to reflect on his experiences, share insights, and explore the complexities of government. A quarterback on Central’s football team, Dale fondly recalls the friendships formed during his time on campus. He continues to return to Central each summer for the alumni golf tournament, maintaining a tradition with former teammates and remaining a proud and engaged Blue Devil. His journey highlights how a Central education can lead to a career defined by integrity, adaptability, and lasting community impact.
