For Artists:
Prizes will be awarded based on votes from a panel of judges representing the local art community as well as spectators. $900 in total cash prizes will be awarded!
There is no charge for registration and competitors will have access to a limited number of chalk pastels. However, artists will be responsible for providing any additional materials they wish to use.
Please note, artwork must be appropriate for public viewing. No words or symbols intended as advertising or promotion may appear within the image. Only chalk/pastels in solid form may be used for the work. No acrylic paints, liquid pastels, or fixatives allowed. Use of water, sponges, etc. is permitted.
Artists may register as an individual or a team of up to four people. A sketch of your proposed design will be required prior to the event. Registration deadline is Friday, July 20th or when we reach 40 registered teams.
Artists have until 12:00pm to complete their design. Judging and awards will begin subsequently.
