There is no charge for registration, and competitors will have access to a limited number of complimentary chalk pastels. However, artists will be responsible for providing any additional materials they wish to use.
Only chalk/pastels in solid form may be used for the work. No acrylic paints, liquid pastels, or fixatives allowed. Use of water, sponges, etc. is permitted.
Please note, artwork must be appropriate for public viewing. No words or symbols intended as advertising or promotion may appear within the image. Profanity and explicit content are prohibited.
Artists may register as individuals or a team of up to four people. A sketch of your proposed design will be required prior to the event. Registration is limited to 40 teams.
Due to limited space and high interest in this event, registered artists are expected to attend. If you are unable to participate, please notify event organizers as soon as possible so your space may be offered to another artist. Participants who do not attend without prior notice may have future event applications subject to rejection.
Artist check-in begins at 7:30 am. You may begin creating your piece at 8:00 am. Artists have until 12:00 pm to complete their design. Judging and awards will begin subsequently.
