Please see the IBEX website for a list of Melbourne Pre-Approved courses which were taken by past IBEX students. Please note: every course may not be offered during the particular semester the student is abroad. If admitted to the program, you may send additional course syllabi to Stern's International Exchanges & Special Programs team for evaluation.

Housing:
The University of Melbourne offers exchange students a range of accommodation options – share houses, residential colleges and student apartments.  Costs range from approximately AU$4,000-17,800/semester.
Approximate Living Expenses: 
1 USD = 1.36 AUD) (As of September 2021)
  • Food:  AU$80-100/week 
  • Transportation:  AU$30/week 
  • Books & Course Materials:  AU$500-750/semester 
  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC):  approximately AU$220/ semester (required for all international students in Australia)
  • Visa: Approximately AU$550 which also grants you the right to work in Australia while studying
