Purpose before profits

I get up most days between 4:30 and 5 am, often before my alarm goes off. I spend my first hour working on me; my vision and my plan. I use two journals and love to work through all my STUff. It’s a long process to build an organization that works with close to 200,000 people a year. It’s not a quick journey. I remind people who think it’s always been this way that it only took me 26 years to become an overnight success. 


If you believe in your dream and you are passionate about your vision, stick to it and find a way to keep your fire burning. 

For me it’s always purpose before profits. Remember this equation: “Purpose + Passion + People = Profit”. You need to figure out your purpose, have unwavering passion (even when things go badly), and surround yourself with the right people who believe in that same purpose.  If you do all that the profit will come, not overnight but over time.
