Bass Pro Shops is proud of its longstanding Culture of Care, offering comprehensive benefits that prioritize prevention, access and ongoing support for our Outfitters.
Thanks to you, for the fourth consecutive year Bass Pro Shops is honored to have been voted America’s Best Outdoor Retailer, reinforcing our position as the unquestioned leader in the outdoor industry. Additionally, we were proud to have been recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Most Admired Workplaces. These recognitions are a testament to you, our dedicated team of Outfitters.
As part of our ongoing commitment to support you and your family, we encourage you to review your benefits in Workday between Nov. 3 and Nov. 18.
Why review your benefits?
Reviewing your elections each year helps you evaluate plan changes and choose coverage that best meets your needs. All Outfitters who review their elections in Workday during Open Enrollment will be entered to win raffle prizes

Make no mistake, these are challenging times and nationwide healthcare costs are rising dramatically. Premiums across the country are conservatively expected to rise by 18% in the coming year. In fact, today the Wall Street Journal reported the average increase is expected rise 26% under the Affordable Care Act.
We remain committed to offering high-quality, affordable benefits to our Outfitters. By comparison to the much higher national averages, premiums for our Outfitters in 2026 will increase 3% for our Value Plan, 6.5% for Core and 9.5% for PPO, significantly below the national average.
We never want to see health insurance premiums rise and are grateful to our Benefits Team who has been working to keep these rates and increases as low as possible for our Outfitters.

We’ve made great progress in 2025, providing real savings and a real impact for Outfitters and their families. Here are just a few examples of how Outfitters are taking advantage of their benefits:
Saving More for the Future: Starting Jan. 1, 2025, we increased the 401(k) match from 4% to 6%, helping more Outfitters invest in retirement. We are happy to share that participation rose in 2025, and since 2022, total contributions have increased by an average of 10%.
Lower Prescription Costs: More than 7,500 Outfitter families used the CVS Caremark pharmacy benefit this summer, with the average cost of a 30-day prescription dropping by 10.4%. On average, Outfitters saved about $34 per month. That is real savings that add up. In 2026, Outfitters can continue to take advantage of the convenience of filling prescriptions at numerous locations, including CVS, Walgreens, Walmart and more, while taking advantage of even lower pricing on CVS mail-order prescriptions.
Exclusive Outfitter Discounts: We’re proud to offer Outfitters an incredible 50% discount on Bass Pro Shops’ proprietary brands and Tactacam year-round in addition to 15% off most vendor brands. Select Extra Discount Days offer even deeper savings on top outdoor brands like Garmin, Vortex, YETI, and Carhartt — helping Outfitters gear up for their next adventure with the best products the outdoors has to offer.
Thunder Ridge Ticket Savings: In 2025, Outfitters received a 25% discount on pre-sales at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena, making for an unforgettable season of live performances featuring some of the biggest names in entertainment. In addition to discounted tickets, many Outfitters were surprised with complimentary access to select shows — making the experience even more memorable. Stay tuned for exciting updates on the 2026 lineup and how to reserve your discounted tickets.
Honoring Our Veterans – This year we proudly celebrated our nearly 4,000 veteran Outfitters with unforgettable experiences, including thrilling events at America’s Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Conservation Attraction Discounts and Free Passes: Outfitters enjoy discounted annual and individual passes to our world-class conservation attractions, including Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium and Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.
Support When It Matters Most: Since its founding in 2016, the Bass Pro Cares Fund — initiated by Bass Pro Shops family member Megan Stack Morris — has provided over $4 million in grants to support Outfitters and their families during times of crisis. Funded by Outfitter generosity and the Morris family, the fund has helped those impacted by natural disasters, accidents, illnesses and other hardships.
