It fills my heart with joy to remember our very special hunting and fishing buddy, John Anderson. It was a true blessing and honor in life to share so many happy memories together enjoying the outdoors. John elevated the awareness and importance of conservation in America by dedicating much of his time and energy to promote the future of the great outdoors through his remarkable talents as a singer and songwriter.
In 2016, we were proud to recognize John as Bass Pro Shops Conservation Partner of the Year for his commitment to conservation and steadfast support for the great American sports of hunting and fishing.
IN HONOR OF JOHN ANDERSON, BASS PRO SHOPS ANNOUNCES SPECIAL 100% CONSERVATION CHALLENGE MATCH
Beginning today, Monday, October 26th through Sunday, November 8th, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s will 100% match – dime for dime - dollar for dollar – all donations (up to $1,000 each) from customers rounding up in-store and online to support The Outdoor Fund. 

The not-for-profit Outdoor Fund unites leading North American conservation organizations working to conserve wildlife and habitat, connect new audiences to the outdoors and advocate for sportsmen’s rights.
Visit Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s and enjoy John Anderson’s hit songs playing throughout the store.
