Kate Hudson is the public relations manager for Visit Spokane, the region’s destination marketing organization. Her mission is to promote all things Spokane by hosting travel writers, pitching Spokane-centric stories to national publications, and reminding the world Spokane is a great place to visit, do business and live. She is also a film liaison for Washington FilmWorks, wooing film scouts and production companies to use Spokane as a backdrop.
Before joining Visit Spokane, Kate was a broadcast journalist for 18 years. She worked as a news producer and weather anchor at KREM-TV and KXLY.
Originally from Alaska, Kate went to Gonzaga University, where she majored in English Literature.
