Scholarship for Newer Tax Professionals

This scholarship is made possible through the generous gift of the Attorney-CPA Foundation and encourages early-career professionals to deepen their expertise in tax and estate planning. This opportunity allows for attendance at The University of Texas School of Law CLE's 74th Annual Taxation Conference, taking place December 2-3, and the 2026 Estate Planning Workshop, taking place December 4. Both programs will be held in Austin, TX and via Live Webcast.

Scholarship Details

The scholarship includes:

Complimentary registration to the 74th Annual Taxation Conference (in-person or live webcast)
Complimentary registration to the 2026 Estate Planning Workshop (in-person or live webcast)
Access to all conference programming and materials (electronic course binder only, printed/shipped binder available for a nominal fee)
Opportunities to connect with top-tier professionals in tax and estate planning
Recognition as Program Scholar (optional)

Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible applicants who meet the criteria outlined below.

Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible to apply for this scholarship by meeting all of the following criteria:

You have not previously attended UT Law CLE's Taxation Conference;
You were first licensed (either as an attorney or CPA) after December 31, 2015; and
You are either licensed both as an attorney and CPA, or working toward that goal.

Application Requirements

Applicants must complete the short online application form*, confirming eligibility and basic contact information.

Letters of recommendation and transcripts are NOT required.

*All applications must be submitted via the portal below. Applications submitted via mail, fax, or hand-in will not be considered.

Deadline & Selection

Deadline to apply is November 13, 2026. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The application window opened on August 24, 2026, and will remain open until all available spots are filled. You will receive notification of selection status within 10 days of submitting your completed application.
