World Suicide Prevention Day, observed on 10 September, is an opportunity to raise awareness of mental health issues and to mobilise efforts in support of mental health. Every year nearly 1 million people take their own lives, and there are many more who attempt suicide. The following tools can be used to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues, as well as to help employees who may be struggling with their mental health.
