TRAINING INCLUDES:


Personalized Training Plan


Whether you are a newly postpartum mom, someone who has never ran a mile before, or a seasoned runner, you get a personalized training plan to follow for eight weeks
*Note that those training for the 10 Miler should be able to run at least 4 miles at the start of training, regardless of pace.

Weekly Group Runs


Location: CM Herndon Park, Durham
Time: 8:00am 
Winter Dates: Sundays, January 5th- February 16th
Spring Dates: Sundays, February 23rd- April 12th

Kick Off Meetings


You're coach will get you off to the right start with all the info you need to start running BEFORE your first group run! If you can't make this meeting, your coach will reach out personally to go over everything.

Time: 6:30PM- 7:30PM
Winter :Sunday, December 29th
Spring : Sunday, February 16th

GOAL RACE


Racing is optional! However, we know many moms like to have something to train for. This is what we're aiming for!

Winter: February 16th, 8AM -Our own informal 5k race at Herndon Park entrance to the American Tobacco Trail. Invite your family to cheer you on.

Spring: April 18th, 7am, Tar Heel 4 Miler and 10 Miler! If you plan to run, you will need to register yourself.

Private Facebook Group for Accountability & Sharing with Other Moms


You have access to our private Facebook group for training session participants to collaborate on mid-week runs, share successes, schedule runs together, ask for coaching advice and stay on track with training.

Weekly Training Emails

You will receive a weekly email with tips, inspiration, and resources to keep you motivated and on track with your training session.

Mom-Centric Atmosphere


We offer a judgement-free, welcoming and friendly environment for moms of all fitness levels and body sizes. You receive guidance and encouragement in a supportive atmosphere with other moms working towards the same goal.

Run Support + Training From Experienced Instructors


Our instructor team consists of moms with years of running experience, certified to teach running to moms. You will be lead by experienced instructors who will teach you proper form, breathing, and lead you through drills to help you gain stregth and improve your distance and speed.
