Field caregivers or clinicians employed for a minimum of 90 days who are in good standing with their service offices will be eligible and encouraged to apply. Individual awards of $1,000 can be earned toward classes, trainings, and conferences taken during each of two separate terms—the 2023 Fall term (July through December), and the 2024 Spring term (January through June). A total of $2,000 may be awarded to individual applicants each academic year.
The 2023 application period is set to launch January 2 on the BAYADA Celebrates community recognition platform (www.bayadacelebrates.com).
Advance to LPN Scholarship is Accepting Applications: Awards of $5,000+ to help pay for nursing school!
BAYADA is excited to announce that the Advance to LPN Scholarship Program is now accepting applications on a rolling basis—so no matter when a BAYADA aide (or title equivalent) starts nursing school, we're ready to help them advance their careers!
The inaugural program participants gathered via Zoom on November 3 to network and learn more about the program, which offers a minimum of $5,000 toward a nursing degree. The meeting included a special appearance by Chief Nursing Officer Mandy Tilton, who offered inspiration and personal assistance to the aspiring nurses.
Andrea Diggs, one of the participants, shared her appreciation for the program: "I just wanted to tell you all…Thank you all for what you're doing and what you're offering. I'm very grateful. [This support] opens up a lot of doors for me and my husband. I'm ready to do what I need to do to get this done. It just helps to have the extra helping hand, not just through my school, but also from my job. I'm very thankful."

2022 W-2s Will Be Available in January: What to Expect and How to Opt In for Paperless Delivery
2022 W-2 forms will be available next month, and there are two ways you can receive them.
The BAYADA Payroll teams are pleased to share that all employees* will be able to access their 2022 W-2 forms online through Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Employees who do not wish to receive their W-2 digitally can expect theirs to be mailed to their primary address listed in Workday by January 31 at the latest.
We encourage employees to take advantage of the ADP site for immediate, self-service access to not only their 2022 W-2, but also their 2021, 2020, and 2019 W-2s. To opt in for paperless delivery of your W-2 through ADP, follow these instructions (bit.ly/3c4XAMb).
In an effort to reduce the risk of identity theft, the IRS is permitting—and encouraging—the use of truncated social security numbers (SSNs). As such, only the last four digits of employees’ SSNs will be displayed on the 2022 W-2 (eg, XXX-XX-1234).
Be sure to verify your information in Workday
It is crucial that all employees verify (and revise, if needed) the accuracy of their personal information in Workday. Whether we're communicating about annual Benefits Open Enrollment, our quarterly Employee Experience (EEX) Surveys, annual W-2 forms, or opportunities to recognize our hard-working field clinicians, we rely on the contact information—email addresses, mobile phone number, primary phone number, and address—entered in Workday to clearly and consistently communicate with our employees. So, we need your help making sure everything is accurate.
As it pertains to your W-2, please be sure your primary address and social security number are accurate in Workday as these will be used to create your W-2. Use the report under the Announcements section of Workday to verify that your social security number and primary address are correct. If one or both are not correct, please contact bayadapayroll@bayada.com.
*Employees hired after November 1, 2022 will have access to the ADP site beginning on December 22, 2022.

BAYADA Brings Awareness to Home Health Care on National Television
We are excited to share that CEO David Baiada and Chief Nursing Officer Mandy Tilton were guests on the weekday morning show, The Balancing Act airing on Lifetime Television. They were invited to discuss the importance of home health care and how BAYADA is dedicated to providing care with compassion, excellence, and reliability to our clients.
During the interview, David shed light on the variety of services one can receive in the comfort of their own home, and Mandy spoke to BAYADA’s extensive training programs to ensure our employees are prepared to deliver the highest caliber of one-on-one care.
When asked about the “secret sauce” that has allowed BAYADA to continue our important work from 1975 to today, it’s no surprise that David credited our success to you—our employees. “The most important thing that makes us different, and makes us who we are, and has allowed us to be here for 50 years is the quality of the people in the home,” David said. “Our team that represents BAYADA…is really what makes us who we are.”
The show first aired on Monday, November 21 and was rebroadcast on Tuesday, November 29. If you missed it, you can watch the clip here—and please feel free to pass it along to your friends, family, and colleagues!
And don't forget about BAYADA’s Talent Scout Program! Refer a friend and you can earn a bonus ranging from $500 to $2,000! Visit jobs.bayada.com/talentscout to learn more.

Get Your Flu Shot Today! Free Flu Shot Vouchers Now Available
This flu season, staying healthy is more important than ever as we are still seeing cases of COVID-19. Experts warn of a potential "twindemic" this year as a result of COVID-19 precautions being less common.
Influenza and COVID-19 share many symptoms that can make it difficult to determine which virus a person is experiencing. The influenza vaccination is proven to be safe and effective and is an essential part of protecting your health and the health of your loved ones and clients. It continues to be recommended for both COVID-19 vaccinated and unvaccinated employees. Annual flu vaccination is recommended by the CDC for everyone 6 months and older, with few exceptions.
Free Flu Vaccine Voucher Available from CVS
We encourage all employees to use the CVS voucher available in Workday. To access the voucher:
1. Log into bayada.okta.com and click on the Workday icon.
2. Click the flu shot icon in the Announcements section, and click Flu Voucher Print.
| |
3. Redeem your voucher for a free flu shot at CVS Pharmacy locations, Longs Drugs®, Navarro®, or CVS Pharmacy at Target (no MinuteClinic locations).

Reach out to your office if you need assistance, or you can email benefits@bayada.com with questions about the flu shot program and is@bayada.com with questions about Workday.
