George's unwavering efforts ensure that our full-time staff, leaders, and Graduate Program Directors are equipped with the essential tools to successfully nurture and guide our students, paving the way for unparalleled student satisfaction. Graduate Research Grants
Please encourage your students to apply for a Graduate Research Grant! The grant is designed to support students engaging in research and creative activities such as poster presentations.
The application is located in myWings: Banner Self Service, Online Forms.
Eligibility requirements can be found on our website under "Graduate School Awards"
Maximum grant amount is $1,000.
George is happy to speak to your classes about applying!
Advising
You can use Banner Advising Sessions and Advising History to keep track of emails and messages you send to individual students. Multiple people are able to access advising, so this is a great way to keep a consistent communication record.
It is important to reach out to newly admitted students to advise them of the courses they need to take. This is a common reason why students delay registering and a common question the Graduate School staff receives.

As part of the Week of Welcome, the Graduate School will be hosting a meet & greet event with Dean Moore with free donuts for students
