Kenyon Alumni Volunteer Bulletin

On Tuesday, Aug. 15 regional association steering committee members joined Advancement staff members on Zoom for a quarterly meeting. Regional volunteers were given an end of fiscal year update in addition to briefings on upcoming on-campus events like the Swimming and Diving Reunion, Homecoming and Family Weekend. Most notably, Associate Vice President of Alumni and Parent Engagement and Annual Giving Shawn Dailey presented on developing plans for the upcoming bicentennial. The annual giving team is gearing up for an expanded Homecoming program, which will include planning sessions with approximately 50 reunion planners who are headed back to the Hill (If you are receiving this newsletter for the first time as one of those planners, welcome!). Also planned for Homecoming Weekend are Kenyon Fund Executive Committee meetings and the second annual Athletics Giving Challenge, which will kick-off on Tuesday, Sept. 26.

Fall annual giving appeals will be dropping in the mail next week and the fall class letter process is also underway, so watch for emails from Annual Giving Operations Coordinator Terry Dunnavant and Associate Director of Annual Giving Chris Cook about your opportunities to personalize or sign the letter, and helping to spread the word about class notes.
