Alumni Instagram Shout Out //
Ryan Stewart '08

Ryan spent four years in the Army as an Armor officer and a year deployed to northern Iraq. He told us: “It was a challenging, tumultuous four years but I learned a lot about myself and what I can do. It paid off in any event, free healthcare for life and finishing up my third Army funded degree this December.” Thank you for your service, Ryan!

To learn more about Ryan, check out @kenyonalumni's recent postTo nominate a Kenyon alum to be featured on our Instagram profile, DM us!

The Kenyon Fund is Trending Up!
Despite some delayed solicitations due to our ongoing database conversion, the Kenyon Fund is trending up over this time last year 🎉 Thank you to our volunteers who have already added their names to the list of “nice” alumni who have made their gifts this year. If you haven’t already — please make your Kenyon Fund gift today. (Unlike Santa, Molly doesn’t keep a naughty list — but she will send you five email reminders the last week of December!) Finally, see below for information about year-end outreach to your classmates.

Plan a Generosity-Themed Event Near You
As we continue to spread the word and build excitement around the Generosity Project on campus, we’d love to extend this spirit to our regional communities. If you’re interested in hosting an event inspired by generosity — whether it’s a book drive, a service project, or a gathering focused on giving back — we’d love to hear from you! These events are a wonderful way to connect alumni in your area while embracing the values of the Generosity Project and Kenyon. Please feel free to reach out to Director of Alumni Engagement Annie Gordon at gordon3@kenyon.edu to discuss your ideas and learn more about how we can support you in bringing a generosity-inspired event to life in your region. Thank you for all you do to keep our Kenyon community thriving. We’re excited to see the creative and impactful ways our regional groups can embody generosity together!

Year-End Outreach to Classmates
It’s time for that end-of-the-calendar-year outreach. Please check your email inbox on Wednesday, Dec. 11, for homework to help us finish out our year strong. Also included in that email will be the recording for our final 2024 Volunteer Lunch Chat where some of our Kenyon Student Advancement Officers shared their new program with us. Check it out — it’s always nice to have a check-in with some of our student body! And finally, there are new developments in the SlateVolunteer platform. If you haven’t signed in yet, let Annual Giving Operations Coordinator Terry Dunnavant know via email if you need the invitation sent your way once more.
