NCL Encore

- Voted Best New Ship of 2020 by the Porthole Cruise Magazine -

About the ship:

The NCL Encore was built in 2019 and weighs in at 169,116 gross tons. The length of the Encore is 1,094 ft and flaunts her impressive 20 decks with style. This ship is packed full of top-of-the-line technology and entertainment. Throughout the day there is an endless amount of activities to join in on. The headliner is the largest racetrack at sea fitted with go-karts that take racers briefly off the edge as a turn takes them over the ocean. There is an augmented reality set-up that flawlessly marries virtual reality with laser tag in a superb playing arena. The Galaxy Pavilion offers an upgraded experience of arcade games redesigned with VR and 4D experiences. With all that fun and games, it is only natural that dinner would cross the mind.

NCL lives up to its Freestyle dining concept by offering 12 specialty dining restaurants to satisfy any cuisine craving. Embrace the unexpected at the ever-changing menu at the Food Republic offering a different country’s cuisine every day. Or, have a taste of Texas with a menu designed with cruise-cuisine quality dishes when visiting the Q Texas Smokehouse. The Certified Angus Steak at Cagney’s Steakhouse will set a high bar for any future steak endeavours. To end the night on a sweet note, take a stroll to the Bake Shop and indulge in fresh-made French macarons. Dolce Gelato is the place for real Italian ice cream or try Coco's for a fun environment with milkshakes and more.

The “cherry on top” of the ship is none other than the Vibe Beach Club, an oasis with exclusive access for adults only. The definition of luxury lives at the Vibe Beach Club. Take a soak in the hot tubs platformed over the ship’s edge for breath-taking scenery. Then, refresh with a cold towel and scrumptious fresh fruit on a skewer. Be pampered and let the worries of the mainland slip away. The Vibe Beach Club – a spa experience that is unlike any luxury spa on land..

With all of the excitement and indulgence, the staterooms are quintessential for waking feeling renewed for the day and recouping in comfort at night. The Balcony cabin features a private balcony with floor-to-ceiling doors, a couch and a convertible queen-sized bed. Views worth photographing can be seen from an Ocean View cabin through a considerably large, picture-sized window. The Mini-Suite Balcony cabin is more spacious than a Balcony cabin, with a larger balcony perfect for private naps by the sea.

Sometimes words cannot express the outstanding description of a cruise ship. Take a look at the beautiful pictures below and imagine cruising the open waters onboard the NCL Encore.

Our Backstory
Jean is the owner of Palm World Travel, a travel company that goes beyond booking. Her first cruise was on the NCL Starward in 1977, back when stabilizers were not yet a standard on cruise ships. When Jean and Bill wedded, they cruised aboard the Cunard Princess for their honeymoon. A small ship by current regard, the Cunard Princess was 17,496 tons, compared to Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas at 228,081 tons. Seeing how much she enjoyed sailing the seas, Bill made cruising for their anniversary a yearly occasion.
After an unforgettable family cruise to Alaska, Jean decided she wanted others to feel the same reward of taking such a stunning vacation. This desire started her on the path to become a travel agent. In 2000, she opened her own travel agency, known as Palm World Travel. Since then, Palm World Travel has been making personalized vacations and catering to vacationers' every needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In order to best serve clients Jean does not rely solely on professional expertise, personal travel experience is just as important.
