World Editions promotes voices from around the globe by publishing books from many different countries and languages into English translation. Through our work, we aim to enhance dialogue between cultures, foster new connections, and open doors which may otherwise have remained closed.

World Editions has offices in New York, London, and Amsterdam and publishes long-established authors, such as recent winner of the Alternative Nobel Prize, Maryse Condé, and the internationally acclaimed Paolo Maurensig, alongside promising debut novelists, such as rising stars Adeline Dieudonné and Pierre Jarawan.

During the hugely popular Publicist Speed Dating session, ABA member bookstore owners, managers, and event coordinators meet one-on-one with publicists from several publishers. During the timed “dates,” booksellers have the chance to promote their stores and discover what publicists look for when planning author tours.

World Editions title Real Life will be part of the Indie Insights program session showcasing First Novels and Mysteries. This international bestseller by French author Adeline Dieudonné is one girl’s bitingly funny coming-of-age tale within a violent, savage family. Galley giveaway! 
This French debut turned into a #1 bestseller with 180,0000 copies sold within the first 6 months of publication and went on to win multiple prestigious literary prizes including Prix du roman FNAC in rapid succession. Translation rights have now sold into 18 countries, and attendees of this session will have first access to advance readers copies of the English translation of what is sure to be an international bestseller.

Join us for a celebration of our German/Lebanese Spring title The Storyteller and find out how to join our global bookseller quote campaign. Baklava will be served!
