Over the past year, we’ve been hard at work building a completely new editor experience with you at the heart of it — and today, it’s available to you.

A big part of the process to get here was to understand how we could make it easier for you to build beautiful email campaigns quickly and efficiently. So we conducted interviews, studied data, and pored over feedback to see how we could reimagine the editor experience for you.

While gathering feedback, we noticed many of you were frustrated with how difficult and time-consuming creating campaigns could be. So the new editor gives you more flexible layout options and content configurations with more control over style and size.
The new undo-redo capabilities track all changes made in a session so you can revert to a previous version at any time so you can edit with confidence.

Mobile design mode

Make sure your emails look good anywhere.


More and more of your subscribers are reading emails on the go, so we’ve added some features to help you build mobile-first campaigns. New mobile-specific rendering, including mobile stacking and more formatting options, ensures your emails look beautiful on every device, and the new Mobile Design mode allows you to build and preview mobile emails and pages in the same editor screen.

New designs to win the inbox—and subscribers


You told us the previous templates were rigid and outdated, so Emma's new editor comes with a gallery of refreshed templates that, when combined with the greater customization capabilities in the new editor, gives you more flexibility to craft beautifully, modern emails with minimal effort. Our new templates include holiday themes, education themes, deal & offer themes, newsletters, and a variety of announcements, all built to catch your audience’s attention while also saving your team time.
What you need to know
From March 31, we’ll begin migrating everyone across to the new editor. But you don’t need to wait to try it out — you can opt in now using the form above. Once you opt in, you’ll see the new editor within 48 hours.
  • Once you move to the new Editor (whether it’s now or after March 31), your existing assets will remain available for you to use. Existing assets, however, will be marked as “Legacy'' and will only open in the legacy Editor.
  • You will only be able to create new campaigns in the new Editor, and you will not be able to edit or use them in the legacy version.
  • If you have an HQ account, the editor will be automatically enabled for all of your users and sub-accounts.
