8:30 a.m. | Announcements & Alumni Band Photo | MK Band Practice Facility
Important announcements and reminders regarding the day's activities will take place under the pavillion immediately following rehearsal. Please stay and join fellow alumni band members for a group photo.
8:35 a.m. | Load Instruments | MK Band Practice Facility
Instruments you would like transported to the stadium should be loaded into the van immediately following the photo and before brunch.The alumni van will be parked in front of the rehearsal facility.
8:35-9:30 a.m. | Picnic Brunch | MK Band Practice Facility
Bring your own chairs and find a spot under the pavillion or out on the lawn. Catered brunch will be provided for all reunion participants/registrants. Food service will begin promptly following rehearsal and announcements.
10:25 a.m. | Optional Sectionals in Circles Performance | UCF Student Union
Alumni are invited to perform with the Marching Knights in Circles at the Student Union. Participating alumni are responsible for transporting their own instruments to and from the Circles performance.
10:45 a.m. | Optional Ensemble/Warmup/Performance | UCF Student Union

11:30 a.m. | March to Victory/Marching Knights Alumni Head to the Stadium | Acrisure Bounce House
At this time all alumni band members and guests should make their way to the stadium to meet at the instrument van to pick up instruments. While alumni may NOT participate in the March to Victory, all are invited to follow the band to the stadium. Alumni will enter through Gate 10 (not through Gate 5 with the band). Alumni will need to present their game tickets to enter the stadium.
11:45 a.m. | Alumni Instrument Pick-Up at Alumni Band Van | UCF Baseball Lot
At this time all alumni band members and guests should make their way to the parking lot at the John Euliano Park baseball stadium (across from the Acrisure Bounce House) to meet at the instrument van to pick up instruments.
Please note: This is a NEW LOCATION from previous years.
12:00 p.m. | Marching Knights Alumni Band Enters Stadium through Gate 10 | Acrisure Bounce House
Alumni with instruments must enter through Gate 10 with their seat ticket in hand to receive admission to the football game AND bring in thier instruments. Guests and those not marching will enter through the gate indicated on their ticket. Those performing will also need to wear their official black MK polo or t-shirt and writstbands.
Reminder: Only participants with tickets in section 134 seated next to the band are permitted to play in the stands. Anyone who needs to store their instrument until halftime may store it under section 135 before pregame.

Halftime Performance Opportunity | Alumni Band Performs with the Marching Knights | Acrisure Bounce House
Marching Knights Alumni join the current Marching Knights for the halftime performance on the field. Those marching on the field must wear either the official MK alumni t-shirt or polo, khakis and closed-toe shoes to go on the field. Dancers, Majorettes and Color Guard can wear black stretch dance-wear pants.
Please note: Only performing members or those who signed up as a "non-marching performer" will be allowed on the field during halftime. All others will need to stay in the stands per the policy set by UCF Athletics. No children under the age of 18 are allowed on the field per UCF Athletics guidelines. At the conclusion of the halftime peformance, instruments may be returned and checked in to the alumni band van (baseball lot) for those wo do not wish to play in the stands for the second half or play at the post-game performance.
Instruments not returned to the van within 15 minutes of the end of halftime will have to be returned after the game, as the instrument van will be locked and unattended until the game has ended.
Post-Game Performance Opportunity | Alumni Band Performs with Marching Knights | Acrisure Bounce House
Marching Knights Alumni join the current Marching Knights in the stands for a post-game performance opportunity. Immediately following the post-game performance, all borrowed instruments need to be returned and checked into the alumni band van (baseball lot).

Marching Knights Alumni & Guest Seating
Be sure to sit in your ticketed seating area - either in section 134 or wherever your ticket seat is located in the stadium.
Reminder: Although you may have your instruments with you in the stands, the alumni band is ONLY permitted to play in the stands if they are sitting in section 134 next to the Marching Knights.

Instruments
Have your own instrument: If you have your own instrument, please bring it to use during Homecoming.
Borrowing an instrument: For those who have requested the use of a school instrument/equipment, the Marching Knights are happy to provide that for your use. Please bring your own mouthpiece and reed (if playing an instrument requiring those). Also, if you have a sax strap, bring it. You will be responsible for the borrowed instrument during the time it is checked out. We ask you give proper care to borrowed instruments and be sure all parts are returned at the end of the event. This ensures that not only future Marching Knights have instruments to play, but Marching Knight Alumni may continue to use them in the future as well.
Instrument Return: There are two options to return instruments:1. Immediately following the halftime performance and 2. At the very end of the game after the Marching Knights have played the Alma Mater and are dismissed. No other times will be available. Instrument return will take place at the Marching Knights Alumni Band Van in the baseball lot. Please find an MK Alumni Chapter volunteer at the van and check-in your instrument. If you have a larger instrument stored with the band equipment at the stadium, you must pick it up from the cage and bring it to the van at the end of the game or return it immediately following the halftime performance.
Alcohol Policy
Please drink responsibly! This will be a long day. We want all alumni and guests to enjoy their experience during the homecoming festivities. However, no one who is intoxicated will be issued an instrument or allowed to participate in the half-time or post-game performance. You may also be turned away from the alumni band section or admittance to the field for half-time.This decision is left up to the discretion of the professional staff on site.
Interaction with the current Marching Knights
We strongly encourage interaction between our Marching Knight Alumni and our current members! This is your weekend to network and mingle.Please find time, especially during meals, to reach out to our members, share stories and forge new friendships. We do ask you to be mindful that they are still students, and have certain responsibilities. We request you keep conversations and interactions appropriate. We look forward to having you join us this year for Homecoming and Alumni Band and look forward to a great weekend!
