Knox Park Camps are 9:30-11:30 AM

6/28 Underwater Explorers: Sea Animals
Students will discover all sorts of fun in the ocean in this interdisciplinary camp that uses various STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts & math) concepts to teach children about their underwater friends. Your learner will be too busy underwater exploring, building and creating to realize that they are also gaining critical social and developmental skills.
7/6   Jr. Engineers: Seesaw
Young students build fun and simple models using DUPLO® blocks. By playing with and manipulating the models, they experience pulleys, levers, gears, wheels and axles while exploring energy, buoyancy, and balance. Classes include free-building time to promote creativity.
7/8   Jr. Scientists: Mammals
Allow your child to cultivate their love of animals. Children will learn various concepts of animal life cycles and animal characteristics & traits using K’Nex toys and other interactive learning tools. We make animal science fun at Snapology!
7/14 All About Animals: Reptiles

7/18 Storybuilders: Fairy Tales
Once upon a time… your child became the author of their favorite stories! In this program, students will explore the primary elements of storytelling as they design their own unique stories focused on the characters and plot lines of stories they’ve heard before. Maybe they will dazzle us with tales of faraway lands, with amazing adventures of superheroes, or even science experiments gone wrong.
7/20 Jr. Engineers: Hockey Player
They shoot, they score! Young students build fun and simple models using DUPLO® blocks. By playing with and manipulating the models, they experience pulleys, levers, gears, wheels and axles while exploring energy, buoyancy, and balance. Classes include free-building time to promote creativity.
7/22 STEAM Survivor: Car Races
Are you ready for a challenge? Snapology’s S.T.E.A.M. Survivor program will put your students’ design, building, and critical thinking skills to the test! They will be given daily challenges for which they must design functional solutions with their teammate!

McHenry Recreation Center Programs are 9:30-11:30 AM

6/30 KinderBots Robotics: Windmill
Children will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Whether learning about sensors while building drills and magic wands, or discovering ways that gears and pulleys create movement while building helicopters and robotic dogs, your child is sure to have a great time.
7/12 RoboPets Robotics: RoboPup
In this program, students will learn about gears and axles all while having fun! Who wouldn't want a RoboPup as a pet? 🐶 This is a perfect program to introduce robotics and coding to your little engineer!
7/28   Amazing Animals Robotics: Alligator
Snapology’s Amazing Animals introduces students to the technical world of robotics. Students will work in teams to create a zoo of interactive and mechanical animals. Your child will build robotic animals and explore different mechanisms such as tilt and motion sensors, motors, and computer software to help them bring their creation to life, all while having fun learning important social and technical skills.
