In acknowledgement of young professionals throughout the company, Aramark (NYSE:ARMK), a global leader in food, facilities management and uniforms, is recognizing the commitment and contributions of young professionals in its workplace with the inaugural 40 Under 40 Awards.

The awards will be presented at the “Aramark Young Professionals 40 Under 40” virtual symposium, hosted by Aramark Young Professionals (AYP), one of Aramark’s employee resource groups (ERG), that works to accelerate the advancement of young professionals. In her five years at Aramark, Shannon has exceeded every goal set for her, quickly moving from a Band 7 with no employment law experience to a Band 5 with personal responsibility for our $4 million insured employment practices litigation program.  She is constantly improving and innovating, refining our existing policies and practices and expanding our work into new areas - like our class action recovery practice - that move our department forward.

Rachel Kehm LaChapelle

During her time as the catering director, Rachel doubled sales from $1.5M to 3M and bridged the relationship with several departments on campus that had never been supporters of our catering department.  Other accomplishments include advancement and President's office.  She also led the charge on COVID changes including Operational Change Plans, Campus Pause Plan, and Quarantine Feeding (on and off-campus).  She is recognized as a key member of campus for the 'Meliora Miracle' which was the end of 10 year endowment push with Alumini and included the largest Alumini Weekend events in the history of the University.

Paula Garcia Angulo

Talent Development Manager

Paula recently assumed the management of Talent & Development and has exceeded expectations, the speed at which she assumed and adapted to the role has been remarkable. She has generated links both within Chile with the Vice Presidents and Directors, as well as generating collaboration ties with Mexico and Argentina, allowing the standardization of T&D practices for the entire region. She is a professional with a lot of knowledge in T&D, which she combines with a great ability to establish collaborative relationships, alliances, and teamwork. She managed to integrate the T&D team with her close leadership, and her personal style.

Brad held various operations and OPX roles before transitioning to growth in 2014 and is known for focusing on the customer and taking action, as demonstrated by meeting and exceeding net new financial results for the last 5 of 6 years.  Brad's strategic approach is very close to paying off again as he and team are in the final stages of negotiating a new agreement with Canada's largest new business dining account (more than $6M USD).

In his short time at Guinness, John has completely altered our client relationship.  Guinness is a client interest account that is hyper-focused on their financial success.  John has a laser-sharp focus on managing the P&L for the client but also driving top-line sales creatively for Aramark.  Additionally, John has created an experience at Guinness that has helped us win 2 other accounts in the last 6 months.  Once potential clients visit Guinness they are always blown away with both the hospitality and the food quality.

Marcus has evolved the Concessions team into a well-oiled machine.  Over the years Marcus has cultivated the "get it done" culture while maintaining and growing client relationships.  Marcus has elevated his leadership skills through the development of numerous managers that came in through the A2L program or other hires.  Marcus has been the leader in concessions through multiple high-level events, Super Bowl, Final Four, Houston Rodeo, Houston Texans events just to name a few.  Marcus was selected as a Ring of Honor inductee last year with his various accomplishments for Aramark.
