What does a day at an in-person camp look like?
Starting the Day:
Drop-off begins at 8:55 am for morning camps and 12:55 pm for afternoon camps. While waiting for everyone to arrive, we’ll keep the kids engaged with fun "free-time" activities. Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult for drop-off each day.
Pre-School Camps (Ages 4-6):
In our preschool camps, your child will build various projects using LEGO® Duplo Blocks and regular-sized bricks. Please ensure that your child does not have a habit of putting objects in their mouth to avoid any choking hazards. Your child must be potty trained to attend our camps.
During Camp:
Your child will take part in a variety of hands-on projects, activities, and group games centered around the week’s theme.
Video-Game Themed Camps:
In our in-person camps themed around popular video games, there is no actual video game play. Instead, we bring their favorite games to life by building Worlds, creating Characters, designing Games, and tackling Hands-on Challenges—all inspired by the games they love!
Camps with Screen Time:
Video Game Design Camp and Animation Studio/Movie Making Camps include screen time as part of the curriculum.
Breaks and Free Time:
Each day, kids will have free-time breaks. We take breaks at around 10:30 am and 2:30 pm, and full-day campers will also have a lunch break at noon. During breaks, children will enjoy a snack (or lunch) and some unstructured playtime.
Snacks and Lunch:
Please pack a NUT-FREE, non-perishable snack and water for your child. For full-day campers, please pack two NUT-FREE, non-perishable snacks and a NUT-FREE, non-perishable lunch.
Wrapping Up the Day:
Pick-up begins at 12:00 pm for morning camps and 4:00 pm for afternoon camps. An adult must come inside to pick up the child each day.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Safety:
On the first day of camp, you will receive a pick-up card with your child's name. The person picking up your child can show the card or a government-issued photo ID to verify identity. Be sure to list those authorized to pick up your child when you register, or inform the staff each day of those picking up your child.
Late Pick-Up Policy:
Due to our licensing, we are unable to care for children outside of our specified hours of operation. Children must be picked up by 12:00 pm (for morning camps) or 4:00 pm (for afternoon camps). If you are late, a $10 late fee will apply after 10 minutes beyond the scheduled pick-up time. After the first 10 minutes, a $1 fee will be charged per additional minute. We will also begin calling the emergency contacts listed for your child. Late fees are cumulative and charged per child. Please understand that our staff has their own schedules and commitments, and being late impacts their time. Fees for late pick-up will be charged to the payment method on file, on the same day.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
