What does a day at an in-person camp look like?
Kicking off the day: Drop off begins at 8:55 am for the morning camps and 12:55 pm for the afternoon camps. While everyone is arriving, we will keep their hands and minds busy with fun "free-time" activities. Children are REQUIRED to be accompanied by an adult to bring them in for camp each day.
During Camp: Your child will participate in several hands-on projects, activities, and group games related to the theme of the week.
Pre-School Camps (Ages 4-6): Your child will build different projects using LEGO® Duplos Blocks and smaller-regular size bricks in each camp, please make sure your child does not have a habit to put things in his/her mouth to avoid choking hazard. Your child must be potty trained to attend our camps.
Video-Game Themed Camps: There is no video-game play in our in-person camps themed after popular video games. Instead, we will bring their favorite video games to life as we build Worlds, build Characters, Create and Play Games, and face Hands-on Challenges all related to that game they can't seem to put down!
In-person Camps with Screen-time: Video Game Design Camp and Animation Studio/Movie Making Camps.
Breaks and Free-time: Children will participate in free-time each day. We will take breaks around 10:30 am and 2:30 pm each day on all camps. Full day campers will also take a break at noon each day. During our breaks we will eat a snack (or lunch) and have some free time to play.
Snacks and Lunch: Please pack a NUT-FREE non-perishable snack and water for your child to have during break. For full-day campers please pack two snacks and a NUT-FREE non-perishable lunch.
Wrapping up the day: Pick-up begins at 12 noon for the morning camps and 4:00 pm for the afternoon camps. An adult MUST come inside to pick up children each day.
Pick-up and Drop-off Safety: On the first day of camp, we will give you a pick-up card with your child's name. The person picking up your child, can show us the card to pick up your child or a government issued photo ID. Please be sure to list the people who may pick up your child when you register or communicate the names of the people permitted to pick up your child to the staff when you drop your child off each day.
Late Pick-Up Policy: Because we are licensed only for our specific hours of operation, we cannot care for children any earlier than 9 am or later than 4 pm. If you are late to pick up your child, a $10 fee will be assessed after 10 minutes of the dismissal time (noon or 4 pm), and every minute after first 10 minutes is $1 per minute. In addition, we will begin calling emergency contact numbers listed for your child. Late fees are cumulative and assessed per child. Please understand our staff has their own schedules and appointments to keep after closing time, your being late prevents them from keeping their schedules. You may rationalize that this is the only time you have been late, but if everyone thinks that way that means our staff is probably staying late every day waiting on a late pick up. Fees incurred for late pick up will be charged same day on the payment method on file.
