Behavioral Health Short-Term Disability
Sometimes it's essential to take time away from work for your behavioral health needs.
What does Behavioral Health Short Term Disability mean?
Behavioral Health Short Term Disability (STD) leave is a paid disability leave request for a psychological condition that makes it difficult to perform your job duties. You may be able to go on an STD leave of absence if you are diagnosed with a behavioral health condition such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, or other psychological conditions that make it hard to function. To be eligible for Behavioral Health STD, you must be in care with a licensed behavioral health provider, such as a therapist or psychiatrist, and be assessed as unable to perform your job because of your condition.
