Ben has been with Live Nation since 2000 in a variety of roles.  He started out as Director of European Business Development, and was based in London from 2000-2005.  His purview at the time was to help oversee M&A activity around Europe, and he was able to work on both promoter and festival acquisitions.
In addition, he was also able to gain first-hand experience in booking, touring, marketing and venue & festival operations.  From there, Ben moved to our headquarters in Los Angeles as the COO, North American Music and then COO, Theatres & Clubs, where he has been for the past decade.  Ben is really looking forward to his new role as CFO, Venue Nation to help us grow into the premier world class venue management team.

Culture is the energy and thread that runs thru our team.  This is what unifies us regardless of where we come from.

What has been the key to your success?
Being able to adapt quickly to an industry that evolves on a constant basis.

What is the best advice you received in your career?
You don’t need to eat the elephant all at once.  Be patient, measured, disciplined and focused. 

What did you learn the hard way that has been impactful in your career?
Unless you’re working a show, nothing good for your career happens after midnight.
