Registration for the 2023 Summer Camp Season is open!

This year, we are offering half-day and full-day camps at our Snapology of Tamiami partner locations. Kids will have a blast making new friends and tackling S.T.E.A.M. projects with Snapology all summer long. Camps will run safely in accordance with state and county COVID-19 guidelines.

Full day camps run from 9:00am-4:00pm, with before and after care available from 7:30 am-9:00am and 4:00pm-5:30pm for students enrolled in full day camp. Half day camps are offered from 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm.We also welcome daily campers for added flexibility. All campers should bring (1) or (2) nut free snacks depending on wether they are enrolled in a full or half day program. Lunch is NOT included so students need to bring their own lunch that does not need to be heated. Lunch will be every day from 12:00pm-1:00pm for campers attending full day. Brain breaks and outdoor free play time will also be incorporated several times throughout the day. We will also have water days on Fridays and several enrichment activities throough out the week such as dance, art and craft, cooking, etc.

Science of Superpowers

In Snapology's Science of Superpowers Camp, campers will learn about the science behind their favorite heroes' and villains’ powers as they build super cool LEGO® projects! Study STEM subjects such as gravity, aerodynamics, forces, motion, as they learn about flight, superhero vehicles, super villain strength, and why these characters fascinate us all. Build with LEGO® bricks, learn about science, and interact with friends in this awesome hands-on summer camp is all about superheroes and all about fun! AGES: 5-14

Kinderbots

Children will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Whether learning about sensors while building drills and magic wands, or discovering ways that gears and pulleys create movement while building helicopters and robotic dogs, your child is sure to have a great time. AGES 5-14

GAMEBOTS

Calling all gamers! Have a blast creating robotic games each week while learning about robotics. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, programming, and pulleys as they create fun to pay games. Whether creating pinball machine, duck hunt, or a ring toss game, your child is sure to have fun building, learning, and playing. AGES 5-14

Mega Machines

In Snapology's Mega Machine's class, your child will create some of their favorite motorized vehicles. Children will learn about gear ratio, sensors, pulleys, cranks, and programming as they build trucks, space rovers, helicopters, and much more! AGES: 5-14

Brick Art & Design Lab (Art History)

Edgar Degas, a famous artist, once said, "Art is not what you see, but what you make others see". As your child learns about different types of art and the periods they were created, students will be interpreting what they see and creating their own works of art using LEGO bricks. Through Snapology's interactive Art History Class, children will learn about Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Van Gogh's Starry Night, Wright's Falling Water, and many more! AGES 5-14

Animation Studio

Create amazing movies with stop motion animation using LEGO bricks. Children will work in teams to produce their very own movie complete with dialogue and sound effects. Movies are uploaded to a secure site for family and friends to see how cool they are! AGES: 5-14

Escape Snapology

Hurry, your team has 60 minutes to discover clues, solve puzzles, answer riddles, and manipulate contraptions in order to complete assigned tasks to ultimately unlock the door to escape Snapology! The team that escapes the fastest is given ultimate bragging rights...until their record is beaten by a new team! In Escape Snapology, students will play various escape games using their budding S.T.E.A.M. skills. They will even design and implement their own escape games. AGES: 5-14

Amusement Park Adventures

Ready for a summer adventure? Embark on some engineering fun as you learn to construct an amusement park with LEGO® technic bricks, motors, and more interactive STEM materials. From building roller coasters to go karts, pirate ship rides to bumper cars, this is an awesome camp in design, construction, and fun! Can you design the next new adventurous ride for Disney World? Let's find out and have a blast this summer at Snapology! AGES: 7-11

Responsive Coding with Cubelets

In this challenge-oriented camp, kids will explore the basic components of robotics by playing with modular cubes known as Cubelets®! Snapping the cubes together in different ways will create unique robots, but what matters most is ﬁguring out the perfect robot recipe to solve a challenge. Campers will work together to create lighthouses, vehicles, astrobots, animals, and many more cool super cool creations. Let's tinker, design, predict, code and play all day with during this brand new Snapology camp! Ages: 5-14

Creature Creators

In Snapology's Creature Creators Camp, your animal lover will create their own animal-inspired robotic models and make them come to life! Campers will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build insects, dolphins, gorillas, dinosaurs, and more. Plus, learn about different types of animals and the habitats in which they live through different LEGO® building projects. Your children are sure to have a wild time as they build, learn, and play with these interactive animal creations! AGES 5-14

Robopets

Children will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build moving animals that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Whether learning about animal habitats or discovering ways that gears and pulleys create movement while building dancing birds and robotic dogs, your animal lover is sure to have a great time. AGES 5-14

Space Wars

Blast off this summer in Snapology’s Space Wars Camp! Campers will study the solar system, including stars, planets, and NASA in this out of this world camp. Through building with LEGO® bricks, creating robots, and more awesome activities, campers will study the structure of the solar system, learn how astronomers travel to space, and learn other fundamental Astronomy concepts through play. Build a robotic Mars Rover, design a LEGO constellation, and more! AGES 5-14

Snapology Favorites: Slime, Fidget Spinner & Escape

Is your child a super scientist? Allow your child to cultivate a love of Science through our Slime, Sports, and Space Camp! Kids will experience different domains of science and nature through this interactive, hands-on Summer Camp. Campers will learn about various aspects of science while participating in projects based on space, chemistry, animals, earth science, and even sports! LEGO® building, slime making, and challenging activities to get kids up and moving around will be a must. We make science fun at Snapology! AGES: 5-14

Super Structures (Architecture)

Does your builder enjoy designing beautiful buildings or functional spaces for their mini figures? If so, this program is the perfect space for your young architect to sharpen their design and building skills. All buildings, from the Empire State Building to the house next door, started as an idea in an architect's head. Students will learn how to take an idea from their head and turn it into a building in the real world. They will be guided through the building process, from creating a floor plan to disaster proofing the building, so that they will be able to create the next best thing in LEGO architecture. AGES: 5-14

Amazing Race

Are you ready for an adventure? Send your learner on a trip with Snapology around the world to discover unique aspects of different cultures, including national flags, traditional cuisines, influential artists, and notable historical landmarks! While they explore, they will be challenged to work with a partner to solve different tasks in various “countries” that will put them ahead or behind in the race to the finish line! Not only will your student be learning about world cultures and developing an appreciation for cultural differences, but they will be competing in fun challenges to test their building and problem-solving skills. AGES 5-14

Real World Robotics

In Snapology's Real World Robotics class, students interested in technology will create robotic models inspired by real life robotic technologies. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build alarm devices, earthquake detectors, robotic arms, and much more. Your child will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn, and play. AGES 5-14

Mining & Building- EPIC

Do you think you know everything there is to know about Minecraft® and more? In Snapology’s EPIC Minecraft®, you are going to be put to the test. Your knowledge is going to be challenged in games of crafting and creating. What ideas can you create in EPIC Minecraft® - perhaps something that you nether thought of before. Come see if your skills are worthy at Snapology's EPIC Minecraft®!

Enter the world of wizards, witches, and knights in Snapology's Castles, Kingdoms, and Wizards Camp! In this camp, Harry Potter fans will study magical places like Hogwarts and create custom potions. Royal fans of medieval times will design crests, build castles, and construct catapults and secret rooms. Let your imagination take flight in this mythical camp full of fun! AGES 5-14
