"Dollars to Dreams" continued ...
Dr. Price, economics and finance professor, said that their initial findings “suggested that students may acquire the relevant knowledge and skills connected to financial literacy better through the process of starting and operating a business than through a more traditional classroom setting.” The new program aims to teach students financial education “through the process of starting and operating a business.”

The team has launched “Dollars to Dreams,” an “entrepreneurship and financial education program where participating students are eligible to receive dual-enrollment college credit through [UNO].” Adjunct professor of management Wayne Encalarde will be teaching the course with assistance from Surprenant and Colston.
