Alumnus Contributes to Center Austria Research continued...
His love for philosophy and international relations brought him first to the University of Vienna in Austria. From 2015-2019 Amin studied philosophy, politics and history and earned his master's degree.
Through his studies, he developed an interest in the history of international relations, particularly in American foreign policy during the Nixon administration. At UNO's Center Austria, he is conducting research for his dissertation with professors Guenter Bischof and Allen Millett (History Department), and he will visit the Nixon and Ford Presidential Libraries. He is supported by a scholarship from the Austrian Ministry of Science and Research. As part of his scholarship, Amin will also contribute to the production of Contemporary Austria Studies, an annual publication from Center Austria and the UNO Press. Amin's interest lies in the nexus of academia and policy. He wants to continue his scholarly work and contribute to actual foreign policy debates.
