The following students were invited: Frederick Quinn, senior Marketing major; Myles Boudreaux, sophomore Business Administration major; Iniya Rene, sophomore Marketing major; Serena Holmes, senior Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Administration major; Mahnoor Cheema, senior Management major and Xavier Wilson, junior Finance major.
Collaborating with Impact Experience, The Lepage Center provided the opportunity for students to engage in a transformative experience that blends learning, cultural exploration and a deep dive into the critical issues of racial and economic inequalities. This program was designed to connect the dots between historical contexts and contemporary challenges in the realms of economic and racial inequality, with a specific focus on their impact on businesses through immersive site visits to New Orleans' historic landmarks, interactive workshops and innovative teaching methods.
