Wine Trip continued ...

Students traveled around Napa Valley, famously known for its rolling hills and vineyards. From their first stop at Reynolds Family Winery to their last at Armstrong Redwoods, each tour and experience became the students’ new favorites throughout the week. They also visited Trinchero Family Estates, Elyse Winery, Mauritson Winery, the Joseph Swan Vineyards, Martin Ray Winery, and then ended with the hike through Armstrong Redwoods.
Chef Mark has led this experiential learning trip for five years since the pandemic and for several years before. Chef Mark says the trip is "enthusiastically educational, from laboratory work to vineyard exploration. His favorite part is “watching the students evolve — the attendees who knew nothing about wine before and come home with a newfound interest and the students who took the Spring wine course and get to connect what they learned in class with what they experience on the trip.”
