Ph.D. in Financial Economics continued ...

Four students are on track to graduate this fall, while several more will graduate in May 2025.
Dr. Lane says that this curriculum has grown into “an amazingly successful program," and the outcomes speak for themselves.
“Most graduates go into finance and academic positions,” Lane says. He also boasts that "UNO produces more finance Ph.D.s here than any other college in the United States."
On where our Ph.D.s end up, Lane says, “Although frequently our students remain in the United States and become department chairs and deans at various colleges, many are international. One of our graduates is the head of the Central Bank of Jordan, another is the head of the Korean SCC, and several have returned to their home countries to get involved in higher government positions.”
Regardless of location, all our graduates make us #UNOPROUD!
