Jesse Beebe, the lead author of this study, conducted the research as part of her Master’s thesis in Biology. The paper, titled “Catechol-O-methyltransferase allelic variation in relation to psychological and hormonal indices of stress in children and adolescents with chromosome 22q11. 2 deletion syndrome (22q11. 2DS)” was published in the Journal of Applied Genetics.
