With 35 vendors and hosting companies ranging from hotels to restaurants to tourist-based companies, the event attracted more than 400 local high school students. Attendees learned about New Orleans culture and specialized opportunities in the HRT fields. They participated in activities like decorating baked goods, meeting innovative AI robots, and spoke to managers, representatives and recruiters from local and national HRT companies—the Greater New Orleans Hotel and Lodging Association, ProStart and many more. Vendor and host organizations provided lunch and refreshments for the attending students.
