The Dementia Training Room allows busy caregivers to quickly access a wide variety of information on topics as varied as: oral care, managing meals, the art of redirection, communication strategies, reducing stress, improving sleep, the disease process in the Alzheimer’s brain and the fundamentals of palliative care.

Brain Thoughts-N-Harmony | Coming in 2026
Free to attend (with free parking) and open to the public. The program will include songs and science by Rebecca Lepping, PhD, director of the PROMUS (Power of Music) Lab, Judy Johnson, DMA and the KU Musicians in Medicine. Derek Kwan, Lied Center Executive Director, and Kelly G. Loeb, MSW, KU ADRC Community Engagement Coordinator, will emcee the event.
