Dr. Heather Johnson Presents
in South Korea
Dr. Heather Johnson, a preventive cardiologist and Director of Preventive Cardiology for Women’s Services at the Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute, recently presented at the International Meeting of Cardiovascular Disease Prevention in South Korea. Her presentation centered on blood pressure patterns and the development of interventions for hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. Dr. Johnson highlighted the Barbara C. Gutin Pre & Postpartum Program, available at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. This program focuses on addressing the unique medical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of new parents both before and after childbirth. The program provides nurse navigation, pelvic physical therapy, group or individual counseling, infant feeding support, and nutrition education.
