Each year, National Nurses Week (May 6–12) provides a meaningful opportunity to recognize the extraordinary work of our nurses—the caregivers, advocates, and heroes who make a profound difference in the lives of patients and families every day.
Throughout the week, a variety of special activities were held to show appreciation for our nursing team. One standout celebration, made possible through the generosity of dedicated volunteers and supporters, offered a particularly memorable experience for our staff.
Thanks to the support of BRRH donors Maggie Rosenberg and Tiffany Berch, and the leadership of celebrity makeup artist Tim Quinn, our nurses were treated to a day of well-deserved pampering and relaxation. Tim and a team of beauty professionals provided complimentary makeovers that brought joy and confidence to so many. A special thank you to Bloomingdale’s Boca Raton for supplying expert beauty artists and generously supporting the event.
The day also featured a range of additional services—including hairstyling, brow shaping, and manicures—offered by an outstanding lineup of vendors and community partners:
- Denise Andrade Hair Atelier
- Kimberly Fontanot – A Polished Nail
- Maison Margiela Fragrance
- The Meating Place of Boca Raton
Adding to the excitement, TA Walker of WPTV’s “Shining a Light” segment stopped by to capture the celebration and share our gratitude with the wider community. Watch the full segment here.
This unforgettable day was made possible through the generosity, vision, and partnership of those who came together with a shared goal: to honor and uplift the nurses of Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Their efforts helped create a meaningful experience that reminded our caregivers just how deeply they are valued by the community they serve.
