Career Coaching
MC2 staff are available to support alumni at all stages of their academic and career journeys, from helping alumni make decisions about educational programs that align with their career goals, to looking at career opportunities and navigating challenges in a current role.

Job Search 
Get help navigating the job search process through one-on-one coaching. Alumni are supported in identifying and applying for roles at Children’s Colorado or Denver Health that align with both their short- and long-term career goals.

Resume, Cover Letter, and Interview Support
MC2 staff can assist alumni in creating a strong resume and cover letter and are available to support alumni preparing for interviews. 
Click here for 24/7 access to online tutorials on resume writing, cover letter writing and interview prep.
MC2 staff ask that alumni review these resources and create first drafts of their resume or cover letter prior to reaching out to staff for feedback or additional support.
References
MC2 staff can serve as a reference for alumni applying to programs, opportunities, or jobs. 

Before listing a MC2 staff member as a reference, reach out to that staff member to share more about the opportunity being pursued and to ask permission to be listed as a reference. 
Letters
MC2 staff can provide alumni with personalized letters of recommendation or endorsements for school programs, internship opportunities or jobs.
 
To request of letter from MC2 staff, fill out this form and email it directly to the MC2 staff member being asked at least two weeks prior to any deadlines that may apply. 
Job Shadowing
MC2 staff may be able to assist alumni in finding a healthcare professional to shadow through Denver Health’s Job Shadowing program. To access the Job Shadowing application, click here.  
 
For assistance in finding a preceptor, reach out to Marisa 6-8 weeks prior to the desired start date. 
Informational Interviews
MC2 staff can help connect alumni with professionals in a field of interest for informational interview opportunities.

For support in finding someone for an informational interview, email MC2 staff at least 4 weeks prior to the desired interview date.
Internships
MC2 staff are always on the lookout for healthcare related internship, research, fellowship, and training opportunities to share with alumni.

Certifications
Each year a number of healthcare related certification or training programs are offered at low cost or no cost to program alumni through MC2, Denver Health or Children’s Colorado.
