The 2019 Greater Nashville REALTORS® Board of Directors election will take place from November 1, 2018, to November 30, 2018. You will vote for four of six candidates. In addition, on this year’s ballot, you will see a proposed bylaws amendment.

Sam Anto

Sam Anto has been a REALTOR® for more than three years. Currently, Anto is a Licensed Real Estate Agent at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Woodmont Realty, offering Residential and Commercial Real Estate services in buying, selling, or leasing primary residence or investment properties in middle Tennessee.

For the past 20 years, Anto has assumed several leadership roles locally and internationally.  Anto served as the 2018 association Chaplin and has severed on several committees including RPAC, Legislative Committee, and commercial committee. Anto has won the Greater Nashville Realtor’s prestigious Rising Star award for 2017. He has raised more than $200,000/ for various charity initiatives. He is also the founder of Carmel Maria charitable trust, which predominantly support street and HIV, infected children. He is bringing a great amount of experience working with US Senate and Congress for lobbying various issues.


Lee Pfund
Lee Pfund has been a REALTOR® for 12 years.  He began his real estate career in Memphis, TN in 2006 by joining his Mother’s real estate team. When Pfund transitioned to real estate in Nashville, he was a regular selling agent with Crye-Leike in Franklin. Within about eight months, he was promoted to Assistant Managing Broker and Director of Training for the Cool Springs Branch and currently is the Managing Broker at Village Wedgewood-Houston.

Pfund has served on Greater Nashville REALTORS® Affordable Housing and Opportunity Community, RPAC Committee, Legislative Committee, Special Events committee and is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Academy. He also serves on the Tennessee REALTORS® Diversity & Inclusions Committee. Pfund holds the following designation: ABR

Eva Romero
Eva Angelina Romero was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from California State University, Northridge and continued Graduate studies at various universities. Romero started to real estate career in 2006. She got her Brokers license and moved to beautiful Nashville in 2012. She is current Broker/Owner of EvaCO properties and is a passionate entrepreneur.

Romero is currently the president of the NAHREP Nashville chapter (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professions). She launched the Nashville chapter in 2016. It is now one of over 55 chapters throughout the US. NAHREPs goal is to advance Hispanic Homeownership. Romero holds the following designations  GRI, SRES. She is currently pursuing her CCIM designation.

Romero has severed on RPAC, Housing and Affordability Committee, Commercial Committee and Grievance Committee.

Rae Thomas
Rae Thomas has been a REALTOR® for more than nine years. Rae is affiliated with The Wilson Group Real Estate Services LLC.

Rae focuses residential real estate sales including Condo & Single Family for investors and personal homes. “I have learned that knowledge and experience are the key to locating the perfect home and to successfully guiding my clients through the process of purchasing or selling their home,” said Thomas.

Thomas has served on the Legislative Committee, RPAC Committee, Membership Committee, Awards of Excellence Committee, and served as Events co-chair and is a Major Investor. Thomas has an ABR designation. 

Kevin Wilson
Kevin Wilson has been a Residential REALTOR® for ten years and recently became a Managing Broker at Pilkerton REALTORS®. 
He has built a successful referral-based business by building relationships and providing value to his sphere. “When I remain focused on being of service to my clients and my community then the business follows,” said Wilson.

Kevin is a Navy Veteran and a graduate of Belmont University.  His certifications and designations include CRS, GRI, ABR, SRES, CNE, and PSA. He has served on Greater Nashville REALTORS® Special Events Committee, Chair of the Professional Development Committee and will be a 2019 Co-Chair of the RPAC Committee.  He is an RPAC Major Investor and a Sterling R member of Presidents Circle. He is a graduate of the TN REALTORS Leadership Class, a Lifetime Member of Awards of Excellence and a two-time recipient of the Greater Nashville REALTORS Education Award. Kevin serves on the board of directors of Nashville CARES.

Waddell Wright
Waddell Wright has expertise in land acquisition, analysis, entitlement, development, construction, leasing and exit strategies for commercial, residential and mixed-use properties. A licensed real estate professional for 22 years, he is a licensed broker in both TN and FL. He holds a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a Certified Property Manager (CPM). Wright is President of the Nashville IREM Chapter and serves the IREM Governing Council, on a national level.

Working hard to maintain relationships with valued government entities, developers, retail tenants and investors, Wright has worked with lenders, asset management and insurance companies while managing, renovating and selling their commercial distressed properties. He has provided over 1,000 asset valuations to lenders of real estate properties, and has sold/purchased investment real estate more than $500 million.

Proposed Bylaws Amendment
An amendment to the Greater Nashville REALTORS® bylaws will be voted on by the membership within the regular voting cycle for the Board of Directors election November 1-30, 2018.

This amendment concerns the process of amending the bylaws. The proposed amendment allows the Greater Nashville REALTORS® Board of Directors the ability to amend the bylaws as needed. 

It is not uncommon for the elected leaders of an organization to have the ability to update the bylaws. It also allows our organization the ability to act quickly, responsibly and nimbly as needed. The Board of Directors are best positioned to understand the needs of the organization especially when it comes to the intricacies of the bylaws and have a legal responsibility to make the best decisions for the organization as a whole.

The Board of Directors are legally bound by the fiduciary duty of care, loyalty and obedience. These duties require officers and directors to act in a manner which they believe to be in the best interests of the association. They must give undivided allegiance to the association when making decisions affecting the association and must act in accordance with the organization's articles of incorporation, bylaws, and other governing documents, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
