Kate Alexy: After graduation I spent my summer visiting friends down in Key Largo before starting my first year of veterinary school at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine!
Noah Amsterdam: After interning for a PV solar company for a few years through a Kenyon connection, I have been promoted to a full time designer. I now ensure people making the switch to solar have the best possible understanding of its potential for their properties. I am also continuing my work as an editor for EA Sports with the FIFA video game series.
Michael Asuncion: I’m enjoying work at Morgan Stanley and life in Milwaukee. I never thought I’d say this, but I’m missing (lacrosse) “fall-ball” — good luck to all those involved!
Adam Bell is a Biology Teaching Fellow at Phillips Academy in Massachusetts.
Dannie Lane: I help edit these now! Since the start of August 2022, I've been working at the Kenyon Office of Communications doing accounting, editorial assistance, and lots of photo-related work. I'm also volunteering a few days a week for XC and Track & Field as an assistant coach.
Celeste Ramirez Diaz: Since graduating from Kenyon in May I have begun working as Talent Acquisition Coordinator for Zachry/JVIC Industrial in the Houston area.

April Murphy would like to pass on the sad news of fellow classmate, Katie Mazzolini.
Kathryn Mazzolini, known by her friends and loved ones as Katie, tragically passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, Sept. 14. Katie had a genuine passion for learning, which took her far beyond the classroom. In pursuit of a political science degree, she left her home in Calabasas, California, for Gambier, Ohio to study at Kenyon College. Then, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kenyon closed campus and pivoted to remote learning. As such, Katie found her way to Loyola Marymount University, eager to embrace the active student body and get involved right away.
Before arriving to LMU, Katie utilized her time away from classes to explore her social justice passions with various internships. She worked as a campaign fellow for the George Gascón Los Angeles District Attorney campaign, a Jails Intern at the ACLU of Southern California and partnership coordinator for Root & Rebound.
In addition to being a wonderful friend, Katie Mazzolini was a beloved daughter to her parents, a loving sister to her siblings and a compassionate human being.
“She just had the sweetest heart,” said Aaron Mazzolini, Katie’s father. “She would never let me kill a spider — we always had to safely relocate [the spider] outside … She also once saved a drowning rat in our old house and from the pool, she scooped him out and then nursed him back to life in a box outside. She was just so caring of how other people felt.”
Aaron said his daughter will forever be remembered for how authentically she lived, as a beloved personality and a bright, boisterous elder to her two younger sisters.
“I viewed her as the sort of trailblazer in the family, with a whole bunch of big goals and dreams,” said Aaron. “We've been looking at her pictures all around the house, and we noticed in every picture of her and her sisters, she's in the middle and she's got one of her arms wrapped around each of her sisters.”
Katie died unexpectedly from a presumed coronary aneurysm last Wednesday, Sept. 14, according to a statement released by the University. She was 22.
